AUFSTEIRERN
DIE SHOW

A historic venue becomes the stage for a contemporary television production. Stage Design, Lighting Design and Visuals connect the distinctive architecture of the Graz Kasematten with the visual language of a major entertainment show.

THE PROJECT

TRADITION MEETS
CONTEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT

“Aufsteirern – Die Show der Volkskultur” connects traditional folk culture with pop, rock and contemporary entertainment in the historic Kasematten on Graz’s Schloßberg.

Stage Design, Lighting Design and Visuals respond to the distinctive architecture of the venue and transform it into a unique show environment that works equally well for traditional and contemporary musical performances.

As TV Lighting Director, I develop the lighting simultaneously for stage and camera – ensuring that architecture, performers and show lighting come together as one coherent visual experience on television.
